Alexis Sanchez agrees to join Arsenal

Arsene Wenger has really made a good signing this month after signing Alexis Sanchez to Arsenal.
The Chile international striker Alexis Sanchez has agreed to join Arsenal Football Club on a long-term contract for an undisclosed fee.Sanchez, 25, joins Arsenal from Barcelona where he made a total of 88 appearances, scoring 39 goals during his three seasons with Barcelona Fc in Spain.
Sanchez won both La Liga (2012/13) and the Copa del Rey (2012), as well as the Spanish Super Cup on two occasions (2011, 2013), the UEFA Super Cup (2011) and the FIFA Club World Cup (2011).
The striker, who has now made 71 appearances for Chile, scoring 24 goals, started his career with Cobreloa, based in Calama in north Chile, where he spent a season before moving to Santiago-based Colo-Colo, where he won the Chilean Primera Division in 2007.

After convincing performances in Chile between 2005 and 2007, Sanchez went on loan to Argentine side River Plate, where he added the Argentinian Primera Division to his honours.

Following his success in South America, Sanchez made a permanent move to Serie A side Udinese in 2008, where he spent three seasons, scoring 20 goals from 95 appearances, before making the move to Barcelona in 2011.

Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger said: “As many people have seen during the World Cup this summer, Alexis is a fantastic footballer and all arsenal fans are delighted he is joining the club.

Maybe, they can finally win a real trophy this time around , THE CHAMPION LEAGUE OR THE PREMIERSHIP I SUPPOSE  

Yes,they have to win the community shield when they meet Man. City.

That will be the very first task of arsenals new signing and the coach as well... they have to win to convince the rest the world that they are a force to reckon with this 2014-2015 season

wen ozil came to arsenal,we all thought de cup was for arsenal.i dont think.maybe a capital one cup.

they are not yet done with their signings, KHEDIRA may join very soon. Gunners for real...lol

don't think so,because they are basing on offensive strategy this tym around which should not only be de case

But i also heard Chelsea was after KHEDIRA too. hmm tough time for teams trying to get best players around to win trophies and the ultimate Champion League, SOME BIG TEAM SHOULD CAME AND SIGN MEEE OOO   

I personally don't think arsenal is the team to watch this season... we will be here to deliberate about the the season as it goes on
