Woyome Is A Free Man, Walks Away With Ghana’s ¢51.2 Million

Alfred Agbesi Woyome has been acquitted and discharged on the count of defrauding by false pretence.

According to Graphic Online Court Correspondent, Mabel Aku Baneseh, the court said the state failed to prove he fraudulently obtained GHC51.2 million from the state.

Woyome was acquitted and discharged on the second count of causing financial loss to the state as well.

The court queried, “where lies the charge of causing financial loss when the state failed to fight the case on its merit at the Commercial Court?”

Mabel reports that the Judgement has ended and Woyome has walked out of court a free man
