After a long wait, we have been informed from a reliable resource that with approval from the Ministry of Sports the Ghana Football Association will appoint former Manchester United as the new coach of the senior national team, the Black Stars.
His name is Sir Alex Ferguson. He is a CBE Scottish former football manager and a player who managed and controlled Manchester United from 1986 to 2013. Born on December 31, 1941 in Govan, United Kingdom.
The Ghana Football Association fired Akwasi Appiah, who supervised the Black Stars performance at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil and also after the Football Association had extended his contract for another 2 years.
We are still thinking what changes have occurred within two months after the contract extension, within that two months, he played just two games, won and drew another.
The Football Association has appointed a 3-member committee to choose a new coach for the Black Stars.
After this situation, the Football Association has opened bids for the position which drew as many as 32 coaches. Among them, some are former Netherlands player, Patrick Kluivert, former Avant Grant, the Chelsea manager, former Real Madrid manager, former Black Stars coach, Milovan Rajevac and Bernhard Schuster.
At last the hunt is over as the Football Association, Has chosen former Manchester United Manager, Sir Alex Ferguson as the new coach of the Black Stars.
It’s surprising that his name has not been mentioned in the coaches list who applied for the job.
