AS you can see from the picture, all you have to do is analyze and tell who from all the pictured people will die if the person at E pushes the round object to the slide on the slope. Keep in mind all the physics and the terrain while you analyze the things.

D, C , and B will die in this order

D dies first * by the time red ball get to D, it will be in the same position as it was when it was static, remember the slope is at 90 degree angle from the red ball, the red ball is 360 degree circle, its going to have exactly 1 full spin on the slope to the to D.

*Don't even think about the small space inside the red circle face upwards will save D . is at 180 degree and the slope is at 90 degree angle, the small space will be facing upwards, same position it was when it was static, this rules out any chances of D getting lucky to survive this death riddle, its going to be the direct opposite side that kills D

C dies when the spikes under the see-saw thrust from the drop(weight) of the red ball will play a major role in this

B dies when the blue ball goes over the ledge * the red ball will have speed and force and left direction ,its going to move the same direction after hitting the see-saw, it going to catapult the blue ball when the red ball hits the see-saw...  remember the small ledge have an angle that slopes left upwards towards B

A will survive because the ledge  between him and B is much taller

Notice: one thing i do find very odd, the blue should be between the see-saw and ledge in order for the ball to be catapulted in the direction of B. if the ball is between the pivot of the see-saw and the ledge, for B to die, the wight of the red ball will have to be greater than that of the blue ball.

Can you explain the position of the blue well?

If you notice the animated gif, you know that D, C and B are going to die. D dies directly after coming in contact with the object, C dies after being thrust by the spikes of the see-saw and B dies with the blue ball.

But consider the situation that the person at E stands for Ebola. Eventually A dies as well.

Don't you think if the the blue ball was between the ledge and the seesaw, it (The blue ball) would roll towards the spikes when the weight of the Red ball hits it and it goes a few degrees down? .That would mean that B and A won't be in any danger at all. With the way both balls are portrayed in the picture, I think the weight of the red ball is considerably more than the Blue ball. That also poses another possibility. Don't you think if the difference in weight is huge the ball can be catapulted straight to A without touching B?

Very Happy I like the E for Ebola thing. But if say A will eventually die, that raises further questions. How will A die if it doesn't make any contact whatsoever with Ebola (And his red ball) .

You are very right,  if the blue ball is between the pivot of the see-saw and the ledge, The blue ball would roll towards the spikes, when the red ball hit the see-saw because the

* Remember the red ball have direction, speed and weight, when hit the see-saw, the blue will be catapulted straight upward the the red ball will pass under the blue ball and get to the legde. the blue ball will then fall on the red ball 90 degree backwards the blue would roll backward to the  C.

The trajectory we are looking is the size of the ball, they are of the same size and any of them should be heavier, its going to be the blue ball because the red ball is having some part of it cutoff  which means is going to loss some wight and should be lighter.... this rules out A been hit by the the blue ball because the red ball wont have much weight to catapult the blue ball to A,

* And in this scenario, the blue should be between the see-saw and ledge in order for the ball to be catapulted in the direction of A, ..... VERY INTERESTING...

The answer is quite funny. We almost got it but for a little part we missed.
Chinesta10 how did you figure out the E for Ebola thing. Am surprised.

Even with the animated gif I still find it hard to figure out how A died. What am suspecting though is that he died from coming into contact with the blood of B after he got smashed by the Blue ball.

The first picture was wrong, in this Answering picture you just posted, you will notice the blue ball was between the see-saw and ledge like i first suspected thats why B dies...

*The first picture shows the ball is between the pivot of the see-saw and the ledge and does not even touch the legde to give the angle on it..

In physics, B, C,and D wil die. but adding the blood effect and making the red ball Ebola, You will notice E touches the Ebola ball first while pushing it and you will also notice a blood spill from B to A , this will conclude that all off them will die

* My issue is: the blue should have turn red after the red ball came into contact with it, but its still blue showing it was not effected, in this case the blood spill from B to A wont contain any Ebola. then A will still survive

* Notice that the red ball must first effect the blue ball with the virus before it kills B, changing the color of the blue ball to red at the point of contact with the red ball would have made the picture true.....

Its a great puzzle no doubt, but there are so many question you can raise on this puzzle considering the pictures...........

Yeah that's true. I have realized that more questions are being raised as we try to solve the riddle. Chief of which as you rightly pointed out is the position of the blue ball before the red ball made contact with the seesaw. I think the position of the blue ball is the defining moment in the riddle and if there's any doubt there then the results would be so many unanswered questions as we are experiencing.
All the same its a nice riddle, I just think it needs a little tweak.
