Hello guys. So let's say you have a vpn which is based on open vpn eg. hotspot shield, nmdvpn, etc... So far as it installs a TAP driver on your system, you can share that vpn with any wireless device.
In case you are still not clear on what I'm saying.... normally to use a internet from vpn on any device, you would have to install it on each device. But with this method you just install on one device and share it to all the rest.
Here's how to do it.
1. Go to network connection. Right-click on the tap adapter and select properties.
2. Go to sharing tab and check "allow other network users to connect bla bla bla..." and select your wireless adapter in dropdown menu.
3. Apply. Now you can create an adhoc and connect your device to it. Those devices will use the vpn directly.
Alternatively you can use connectify to share the same tap adapter to wireless hotspot. So that mobile devices can connect to it.
Enjoy
