The Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) has extended its deepest condolence to the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, who has lost her father, I.K Adjei-Mensah, former Brong Ahafo Regional Minister and one time Member of Parliament (MP).

In a statement issued by MUSIGA, it stated that “we heard the shocking news last week and we share the grief you and your siblings, mother and other family members are going through. We pray that the good Lord grants him a peaceful repose in His bosom.”

The statement added, “We believe that even as the Lord gives, He as well takes and are therefore comforted by that fact that Hon Adjei-Mensah is in a better place today. We also pray for the Lord’s peace on your family and that the good Lord may keep you and protect you in the days to come.”

Meanwhile, a group of celebrities have since visited the minister to offer their condolences.

They are Rev Eddie Coffie, Bice Osei-Kuffour, aka Obour, Selassie Ibrahim, Irene Opare, Rev Dr Mary Ghansah, Celestine Donkor, Philipa Baafi and Ekow Smith-Asante. Others are Eunice Banini, Wakefield Akuaku and Ras Caleb Appiah Levi.
