A group of people claiming to be supporters of NPP National Chairman Paul Afoko has clashed with the party’s private security, Invincible Forces, over control of the party’s headquarters.

The youth who were chanting pro-Afoko slogans, attempted taking control of the office but were repelled by about 30 able-bodied men armed with horse whips, Joy News' Kwakye Afreh-Nuamah reported.
In a stone-throwing assault, the two groups exchanged missiles Thursday but the youth proved no match for the invincible forces.
Two of the pro-Afoko group were injured and the windscreen of two buses have been damaged.
