1.Open your modem software (EG MOBILE PANTHER, MTN FASTLINK, AIRTEL AND SO ON)

Go to menu Tools --> Options
Select Profile Management.
Click New  , and enter in  the below information


Profile Name : HackGH Cheat      ( just to remind you were you got it from, and also don't forget about us)

Apn static    : glowap          ( type it in small letters)

Username     :                    ( leave it empty)

Password     :                    ( leave it empty)

Now click Save and OK

•Download proximitron from HERE

• Install and Open it. untick all the boxes leaving OUTGOING HEADER FILTERS and USE REMOTE PROXY.

• Click on the HEADER button and untick all headers you see.


• Click on the NEW button and create a new header. In the HTTP header,input "HOST" and in the REPLACEMENT TEXT input "jsi.glo.com" then click apply and ok.

Tick the IN and OUT boxes beside the newly created header [HOST] then click ok. then click apply and ok

Notice: Make sure to untick all the other list apart from the" HOST"... like in the picture below you will see only "host" have been ticked.

• Click on the PROXY tab, click ADD and put this up and port in 10.161.85.4:8799 and click ok.

• Click on the arrow button closest to the help button to save the settings.

• You have one more step to go to finish the whole configuration. The last step is that you should go to your browser. Let us take Mozilla Firefox as an example, click on tools ==> Option ==> Advance tab ==> Network ==>Settings then tick on manual configuration and set your: Http proxy: 127.0.0.1     port: 8080    Note: Just under the Http proxy , tick  (use this proxy server for all protocols)

Sup can anyone help me figure out how to download with it cuz I have configured it but still can't download anything

@kbasante... Please i suggest you should check all the previous conversation under this topic, i guess you will get the solution to the problem you are facing now.

@mims94... No improvement yet on the speed. I think because the airtel sika kokoo came, people dont pay much attention to this cheat.

@kbasante... Please use this proxy and port in your idm. Proxy:127.0.0.1 port:8080

i have used the proxy and port u jux posted but i still cant download stuff i cant even stream online and grab the link to download

Glo network without this trick has an amazing speed in my area. I think the speed could have something to do with the proxy server we use.

My reason being that i have have seen a little increase in my download speed although surfing with it is still a headache. I now have an average download speed of 50kb/s on idm. There is definitely a way around this. All hands on deck!

I have also experienced the Speed @50kbp this morning testing this cheat, but the average seed is like 30kbp in my area. i also notice you cant download more than 40mb with this cheat, you get an error if you try to download more than that.. there is a lot of work to be done on this cheat if we are suppose to make it better.....

have anyone downloaded more than 40mb with this cheat?

Yes@ PD. I have downloaded an mp3 file that was about 70mb with this cheat on one occasion. But i haven't been able to download anything close to that as a video or software. I thought it was due to the poor nature of the network connection at first.

One thing is for sure. This cheat is massively underrated, partially because of the Sika kokoo bundle and the speed. But given how long it has lasted, i think we should be giving it more consideration. That's the only way we can make it better.

Am using apn "internet", instead of the usual apn "glowap", i realize the speed in browsing is now very smooth and fast but the download speed and size still remains the same, can anyone test internet as apn and give their feedback?

Open HackGh with this cheat is that easy, but cant say the same for other sites, @Dagobert i do agree with you this have to be the proxy server we are using, the one we are using now is free home page, Do we have any other free homepages on glo?

Internet as apn did not work for me. So i resorted back to the glowap. But i have seen a slight increase in the surfing speed. Especially when visiting HackGH.

I don't know about any other free homepages apart from the Jsi homepage. I think we need to compile a list of all the free homepages for the various networks. It will help our quest.

This is the first time im trying out this cheat and after going through all the processes, i tried browsing only to recieve this message "error connecting to proxy. The proxomitron couldnt connect to 10.161.85.4. This proxy server may be having troubles." Want to know whether the cheat is still workinh or im the one not getting it riight.

Well, just tested the cheat is working. just make sure to configure it well to get it working......

I have been able to configure it finally. It was the browser that was giving problems. That's what i used in replying this message. Now i have no excuse to be offline.#hackgh4lyf
