‘Mahama’s small boys are destroying the economy’ – Ken Agyapong 605238227_291414
Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has placed the blame for the woes afflicting the nation on the "young and inexperienced ministers" in the Mahama administration.

According to the MP, the ministers unable to deliver because they have not gone through the "school of life" and gained valuable insights and can therefore not deliver on the national scale.

This lack of knowledge, as well as their "incompetence" is reflected in the kind of advice they have been giving President Mahama, which in turn has brought about Ghana's current economic and other woes, Hon Agyapong claims.

Speaking on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem Wednesday, Hon Agyapong indicated that the leadership of the party coupled with some ministers which he describes them as very young are rather being incompetent in the job instead of working hard.

“The reason Mahama is having challenges with his government is the use of these young ministers he has appointed as ministers. He will continue to face these challenges such as corruption and the power crisis if he still keeps these people around him.

“The type of people he chooses to be ministers also add up to the corruption facing the country” he alleged
Mr. Agyapong however wondered why the President is refusing to boot out persons who are not "adding anything" to his government but rather chooses to keep them close.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is in its sixth year in office, having won the 2008 and 2012 elections. All things being constant, President John Dramani Mahama will be facing Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of the NPP and others for the right to stay in office beyond January 6, 2017.

hahahahahaha. I don't think they are small boys but the ideas of good governance are few... This country is not in a good shape due to selfish interest in most of our leaders.. (Sika die basabasa).. lol

Felizo please check and delete one of your comments, there's a duplicate.

These people just talk anything they want when we are in crisis and whatsoever. Didn't he know they were small boys when they stood for the position as MP's and he never talked about it until the time that we're in crisis when we need them to all come together as one whether NPP or NDC cos they are one cabinet to solve the problem..

@ MherlynEmhr3z, then tell Mahama to appoint members from the opposition as ministers in order to become part of the cabinet. That's the only way to become part of the cabinet.

They ministers know what they're doing and they know they will go scot-free that's why they continue to let selfishness and greediness lead them.

Impunity is reigning in the country

The fact of the situation is that Ghana is in crisis not because of NPP or NDC, but because of politicians. Both parties contribute and are still contributing to the downfall of our economy. The shortfalls of the current government are met with glee from the opposition because they know that would boost their chances of regaining power. None of them has Ghanaians at heart.

I totally agree with @Dagobert.... Most Ghanians are attached to a political party instead of their heads, While the NDC have not done enough to serve the people of Ghana with basic needs like Electricity.

The NPP is also using the situation for their political Agenda and climb to power. You can almost feel NPP communicators are happy about the situation whenever i hear them speak, they are probability praying it never stops until 2016 election, Ghanaman for you!!!

MOST OF US VOTE BECAUSE OF AFFILIATIONS TO A PARTY OR POLITICIANS INSTEAD OF CONSIDERING OUR SITUATION IN LIFE AND USE THAT AS A BASIS FOR VOTING..... GHANA'S FUTURE IS IN JEOPARDY AND THE POLITICIANS ARE TO BE BLAMED FOR IT NO MATTER THE POLITICAL DIVIDE OR COLORS

Mother Ghana is limbo become of politicians

''Most Ghanians are attached to a political party instead of their heads'' that's funny...looking at the current situation of this country it'll take a miracle to make it better.
We need a selfless leader who would put his/her (I say her cos I think its about time we give women the chance too) foot down and say enough to all the money squandering ....like the stupid monies we keep paying the BLack Stars

But will there ever be a "selfless leader" who can manage the money matters of this country well? am asking because i can think of one that will put the the people of Ghana first instead of their stomach and party colors?

The issue is that we Cant get a leader that would put the interest of the people first. Why, because that's what politics is all about. Why, because that's what he watched and learned from his predecessors. Politics is a game and once you go into it, and you are infected with the money laundering virus (Which you will definitely be infected with ) There's no turning back.

Ye men of little faith... why have you guy closed your minds to the possibility of there being a SELFLESS leader. I absolutely believe there are good people competent enough to run the country who would put the needs of the Ghanaian above all else.
Like PAA KWESI for instance, this country has been polarized for far too long. its time we gave another party a chance at running this country
