I need help to reset my facebook password

I changed my facebook password and i forgot but i had already logged into my facebook account on my phone and didnt logg out so i get access to my fb account on phone only. When i try to logg in on pc to reset my password, it says i shld check my email that i used to registered fbk.. When i try to logg into that same email account, it says "the account does not exist

are you sure your email is correct and are you sure thats the email you used to register facebook.... when was the last time you logged into that email??

its the same email address i used to always log into facebook..... i logged into email address about 3 years ago....

i guess it would be really helpful if anyone can help him out...otherwise , i thimk he has to make the hard choice by creating a new account... it has happened to me b4 n i had to create a new one...i believe someone can help...
