National Democratic Congress (NDC) executives at Sefwi Akontombra in the Western Region have given a two-week ultimatum to President John Dramani Mahama to sack the District Chief Executive of the area, Peter Nkoa, else they will resign from their post as party executives.
Constituency Secretary, Isaac Tawia told Adom News the conduct of the DCE is collapsing the party and several petitions to the Regional Minister, the President and the national executives of the party have been ignored.
According to him, the DCE has not only failed in his mandate, but has failed to help the growth and the development of the party to the extent that vehicles meant for party work in the constituency have broken down and nothing has been done about it despite pressure from the Deputy Local Government Minister to repair the vehicles.
