Lil Wayne to invoke Antoa on FDA 52323910.295

Kumawood star, Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Wayne, says he will invoke curses on the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) if the authority goes ahead to ban film and other stars from featuring in any advertisement promoting alcoholic beverages in the country.

He says the directive will bring untold hardship on them since that is one of their main sources of income.

The FDA issued directives banning stars from advertising alcoholic beverages, insisting that such commercials influence young people to buy alcohol.

According to the FDA, the ban is to protect the interest of their underage fans.

But Lil Wayne in an interview with Adom News said the ban if implemented will affect their daily bread.

The Kumasi-based actor says if the FDA goes ahead with the ban, he will invoke the dreaded Antoa Nyamah deity on them.

Lol. Curses paaaa. This is an issue which must be seriously dealt with. From the actors point of view, it is a source of their daily bread because "Prof Dumsor" is collapsing their movie business and the movie industry isn't that good. From the FDA's point of view, the actors are fans of young ones in the society and therefore advertising these alcoholic product will lure the young one in the society to drink and consequently become addicted to it. Kwaku Manu even attested to the fact that although what the FDA's are saying is true there is actually little they can do about the situation. I think what the FDA's are putting across should be duly considered. Being a source of income shouldn't also lead to the degeneration of the youth in society.
