Hackers from Cyber Berkut group are claiming to hack and leak personal emails belonging to Colonel V.M. Pushenko. of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.
In an email one of the representative from Cyber Berkut claimed that the leaked emails contain confidential conversation between officials about ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia.
The content of email conversation is available below:
Today we, CyberBerkut, hacked the e-mail of a colonel of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense V.M. Pushenko. The correspondence confirms reluctance of the common Ukrainians mobilized in the Armed Forces to shoot their compatriots and proves mass desertion facts in the army. Morale of the Ukrainian soldiers is so low that they throw their weapons away and break out of their military units even in spite of the threat of punishment by the Nazis.
The colonel in this correspondence also reports huge losses of military vehicles which went to the voluntary military forces from the Ukrainian army. These facts are the most kept secret of the Kiev officials. Our Ukrainians journalists either don’t know the truth or don’t want to tell it.
This is not the first time when hackers have claimed a high profile leak. In February 13, 2014 Anonymous hackers claimed to hack and leak secret email conversations of Vitali Klitschko’s UDAR party.
