He stressed the need for assembly members to educate the people to honour their tax obligations to enable the assembly to generate more revenue. Mr Marnuh commended the Heads of Departments for supporting the management and expressed appreciation to the security agencies for ensuring peace and tranquility in the communities.

He announced that a contract has been awarded under the District Development Fund (DDF) for the construction of a Senior High School (SHS) at Krobo to make secondary education accessible to the youth in the area.

In addition, the Fund is financing a mechanized borehole at Tuobodom, while the assembly is constructing three classroom blocks each for the Akrofrom Methodist Primary School and the Nuriya Islamic Primary School at Tuobodom.

Mr Marnuh commended Mr Alex Kyeremeh, Deputy Minister for Education, and Member of Parliament for Techiman North, for constructing eight boreholes in some selected communities in the district.

Mr Fosu Amoako-Attah, the Presiding Member, expressed appreciation for the unity and efforts of the assembly-members in taking informed decisions to enhance the development of the district.

He urged the assembly members and others who intend to contest the up-coming District Assembly Elections to conduct their electioneering campaign devoid of insults, personal attacks, and character assassination of their opponents, to ensure peaceful and successful elections.
