Sometimes during a tweak, especially those that involve the use of your system files or disk C we are required to enable the hidden files view in other to see folders that are hidden. Today we will take a quick tour on how to enable and also disable this in windows operating system.
First of all click on your windows file explorer. As you can see in the image below, am at My Documents. You can navigate to any part of your pc but since you are still on your explorer, you can still execute this process.
Click on “Organize at the top left corner of your Explorer.
In the drop down that follows, click on “folder and Search options”. It takes you to a screen as seen below. Navigate to the “View” tab on top and you will see a list of options. Navigate to the “ Hidden Files and folders option on the list and click.
Two options will be given. Change it from “Don’t Show Hidden files Folders or drives to “Show Hidden files Folders or drives” You can latter disable this by changing it back to option one.
Click apply and then click ok. You will now see all hidden folders in your PC.
