Need Help(How to watch ip tv on strong decoder)

Those of you u have knowledge about decoders and installation. Please is it possible to insect a usb modem into the decoder through the usb port to connect to the internet??. I want to watch ip tv but it needs internet access. Thank you

Well it depends on the Strong decoder version in question, not all usb port are used for internet, some are just for plug and play device like pen-drive, which you can view contents like video and pictures, or recording the tv onto the pen-drive. However, there are other decoders that can do all the above plus more.

First of all, you should find out what type/version of Strong decoder you are using and also find out if it can install modem, just turn the decoder upside down and there should be a bunch of stickers at the back, you should find the type/version there,

The type of the decoder is SRT 4950H...When i selected the usb menu and headed to the settings, i saw... Link type. The link types are three. They are connection through cable, wireless and 3G modem

Yes you can definitely achieve that feature on the SRT 4950 H. As long as the apn settings are correct, you are good to go. All the best.
