The first edition of the GN Bank Awards happened on Saturday March 21, 2015 at the Accra International Conference Center where various personalities in the country were awarded.
English DJ and radio and television presenter, Tim Westwood, whiles entertaining the crowd with his DJ skills, made a shocking statement.
The host of the UK version of the MTV show “Pimp My Ride” said “Rest in peace to Castro” about three times whilst playing Sarkodie and Castro’s “Adonai” hit song.
The statement by the renowned DJ surprised the crowd gathered at the event.
Castro and his female friend Janet Bandu went missing July 6 last year and have still not been found.
