not north that's for sure...there is no smoke, it's an electric train.

Yeah, of course .....The clue is "An Electric train"...Meaning doesn't burn fuel to produce kinetic energy for its motion....
So simply, since its an electric train, it doesn't produce smoke and hence the answer is 'There is no smoke'....
