This topic shows how I installed the
Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks dual boot
with Windows 8 on a HP G62 A30SY,
some steps may be redundant but
that’s the way I did it work, if you
have any problem just post bellow
that I will try to help you.
Requirements:
- working Windows
- USB sticks 8gb or Higher
- Mac Os x Mavericks (Will provide
torrent file)
- multibeast 6.3 (http://

- Transmac for windows
SYSTEM REQUIREMENT
Minimum Requrement
Intel core 2 duo or Later
2.1ghz cpu or Higher
Must have 64 bit Intel cpu
10GB of HDD Partition Space or
Higher
2GB of Ram
Recommended System Requirement
Intel Core i3 or Higher
2.2ghz cpu or higher
64 bit Intel cpu
4gb of Ram or Higher
16gb of HDD Partition Space or
Higher
Preparing the usb Bootable Drive
Transmac for Windows (2-week trial)
can format USB drives for mac and
restore .dmg files to USB drives.
Download Transmac and install in
Windows
In the right-side panel of Transmac,
right click on your USB Drive >>
Format Disk >> Restore with Disk
Image (see attached screenshot)
Point to your .dmg file and click
Open.
Warning it will take sometime base
on your system specs.
PREPARING INSTALLATION
1-After making the bootable usb drive
reboot your Machine.
2-Boot from the USB DRIVE——Base
on the machine you are using…Keys
F12,F2 or F9.
3-When it finish Booting Choose
Niresh Maverick: Please Don’t Press
enter.
4-FOR HP USERS…Boot with this Flag
“-v” without the cot.
5-The OS X installer should boot. Go
to the utilities menu and click disk
utility. Select the disk / partition you
wish to install OS X to, call it "OS X"
and format it as “Mac OS X Extended
(Journaled)”
6-Follow the installer to install OS X
to the drive you Formatted.
7-Please don’t continue or Install
yet….Click on Customize .
8-Expand the Graphics Line And click
Backup Graphics Kext to back your
Graphics Kext(It help me to boot to
desktop) and expand the bootloader
and untick everything…..click ok it
will take you back to installation
screen.
9-From now you can choose the Drive
you Formatted to Mac OS X Extended
(Journaled)
10-Now start the Installing wait for it
complete. When its done it will
automatic Reboot.
11-Boot again from the drive and But
this Time CHOOSE THE HARD DRIVE
YOU INSTALL THE MAC OS X ON.
12-Again boot with this flag “-v”
13-When you successful boot to setup
screen is all up to you.
